Because women are generally 10% or less of the NANOG population, I would like to see an event like a 1 hour happy hour or coffee hangout, that is limited to women only. This meetup would be focused on meeting new people and helping each other make the connections that are critical to their success at the meeting.
I believe events like these would increase comfort and productivity of women at the NANOG meeting and also increase the quantity of returning female attendees.
