Because of the recent shipment problem of Cisco, I am looking seriously
for a cisco 827 substitution. What I need is a router which support PPPoE
+ IPIP tunnel with Ethernet (or DMT) WAN port. Do you have any idea for
products other than cisco which support ipip tunnel?
I've tried Netopia, however, it doesn't support ipip tunnel.

always reports "No match for domain"!!
Is it working? Do you know where I can query domains details registered in

This is probably best posted to the isp-dns list, but the short answer
to your question is that the register.com whois server only shows
results for domains registered through register.com:
#whois -h whois.register.com hostsec.com

No match for "allan.org".
Your best bet when searching for domains is to query rs.internic.net,
then query the appropriate registrar.
