Reddit down

Are we having yet another CDN meltdown or is it isolated to just reddit?

Reddit main page loads for me in Columbus Ohio on a Level 3 loop.

I am getting, “Our CDN was unable to reach our servers”.

Looking at down detector, there are lots of folks reporting issues and the Reddit status page has a high error rate…

Sorry for the noise…

Accessing from Chrome fails but works without issue on Edge…

Good for me at my house right now - Johannesburg.

Maybe backend related?

Seems to be having problems here.

Was getting "CDN can't reach" messages, now getting reddit pages - but the individual lines are listing "something went wrong, don't panic" and a global pop-up "couldn't load posts for this page. Meanwhile the phone app seems to be working just fine.

Just tried using Firefox instead of Chrome, and back to "CDN can't reach."

Odd... but I'd guess it's something between their web server & database.

I'm also finding that it works with Chrome but I'm getting the
"Our CDN was unable to reach our servers" message when I use Firefox.
