Up here in Seattle, Google is working fine, but yahoo is broken. The main yahoo.com page loads, but none of the subdomains I have tried are resolvable. www.microsoft.com is also broken. I'm seeing the same DNS resolver issues described.
One layer under AS12003 here.

Google pulled references for akamais dns servers a short period ago.
they are presently serving their own dns requests.
