i am seeing some serious unreachables using uunet.ca, @home (ontario),
sprint (canada) and others.
all at the same time.
a traceroute from @home (ontario) to www.ibm.com dies someplace in the states.
is there some major outage near the core/tier1?
It seems that whoever IBM's upstream is has some issues... I get as far as
qwest LAX, sprint anaheim and uunet chicago. It's my guess that UUNET LAX
and or burbank is having some issues, since I never get passed chicago.
UUnet appears to be very broken internally. Lots of reachability
issues, and they are announcing only a percentage of their prefixes to
many peers in various places.
