Hopefully someone at IBM/NS1 looks here… this is for you.
Your nameservers are broken. We have noted a hostname for which your servers are returning the correct CNAME record when queried for A or CNAME records:
# CNAME records
○ → for i in dns{1..4}.p03.nsone.net; do echo $i:; dig +short CNAME forum.newscience.org @$i; echo; done
dns1.p03.nsone.net:
newscience.hosted-by-discourse.com.
dns2.p03.nsone.net:
newscience.hosted-by-discourse.com.
dns3.p03.nsone.net:
newscience.hosted-by-discourse.com.
dns4.p03.nsone.net:

# A records
○ → for i in dns{1..4}.p03.nsone.net; do echo $i:; dig +short A forum.newscience.org @$i; echo; done

But when queried for AAAA records they return incorrect IPv6 records:

I tried to post this to the NANOG list but Google is rejecting the IP address of my mailserver for the crime of being hosted in DO
