MAE NY?

The real problem here is that Telehouse either doesn't want or doesn't have
the ability to give you floor tiles that have holes cut to your spec. They
basically rummage round and get you a tile with a random-sized hole in it.
If you're lucky, you get a big hole in the middle. If you're not, you get
one just big enough to fit your hand through (and risk the jaggies on the
bottom) at some random spot on the tile. I've thought about keeping a
sawzall in cabinets there just for the purpose of "customizing floor tiles"
in the wee hours of the night. :sunglasses:

I'm sure telehouse would actually not have a problem with that.

They are generally very accomodating.

Wow, I thought I was accommodating in my colos, but I never would have let
someone have at it with a sawzall.

I meant cutting floor tiles, but not at telehouse; ie, they would give you
a tile, you shred it in your basement and then bring it back.

So I hear Alex is volunteering his basement?

Man, depending on the tile, that can be a big pain. When I build a colo I
try to use tiles that are filled because they are a little easier to work
with. At least cutting them is easier then drilling holes though them.
