list all the domains under a specific nameserver?

Just curious, is there any way for someone to pull all the domains being
registered under a given domain register? I have seen websites like
http://www.dailychanges.com which does this type of thing and would like to
know if that is something easily doable, thanks

Regards

John

The only thing comes to my mind is the passive dns method, which collects
all the dns requests and replies and then a database can be created to
track the changes.

But I am hoping there are other better answers.

Thanks

Commercial services such as domaintools name server monitor come to mind.

Otherwise; the person to ask the question needs to have the "zone file
information". nameserver list data feeds from the TLD registry operators,
of every TLD they want to gather nameserver information for.

For certain TLDs; this may be available -- for example, Verisign .com
and .net "TLD Zone file access program".

These data feeds are likely at substantially high application, approval,
and paperwork requirements for acceptance, for each TLD, and substantially
high cost for each TLD ----- therefore, not generally an option,
so dailychanges or other commercial services will be your best option..

There is certainly no WHOIS or DNS query that will provide you this;
which is essentially a search for database entries based on the IP
addresses that NS record right-hand side values resolve to.

Apart from these, also ICANN's Cetralized Zone Data Service:
