Has anyone else experienced unusual trouble with emailed host
modifications wrt 'network solutions' ?
[And is there a list dedicated to netsol problems?]
Submitting a modify from the owner of the domain generates the following
standard message.. Unfortunately, 'gws@sweet.com'!='gws@sweet.com' in
their eyes, and no ACK rqsts are ever sent to the contacts. I fear
something [else] may be broken..
[Their helpful customer service has indicated multiple times that an ACK
rqst form will be sent to the contacts, and upon learning that this isn't
the case, they get confused and scurry.]
Suggestions eagerly awaited (off the list?).

What happens if you send mail from gws@SWEET.COM vs gws@sweet.com?
Case insensitive compare problem, maybe?

That was one of the first things I tried, Forrest..
The suggestion that their error message was incorrect or misleading.. was
in fact correct.
You would think that I would get the ACK rqst; that still bothers me, but
something else was wrong and as soon as I realized the message from netsol
wasn't accurate, I was able to track it down.
Thanks for your help, guys.
Who should I try to pressure to get their message altered?
[Or is that indeed a futile effort, as past experience has often shown?
:)]

Well, it was worth a shot.
FWIW, I have been trying to get a host record changed over the course of
about 3 years now with no luck. Fortunately, both the old and new
addresses are still ok.
Same thing, though, no e-mail for an ACK.
