Hey guys…
I’m setting up a multihoming configuration for our network and running into some challenges with BGP. Our setup involves two ISPs, and I’m aiming for redundancy and load balancing across both connections. I’ve configured BGP sessions with both ISPs, but I’m struggling to properly tune the route preferences and failover behavior. Currently, all traffic seems to favor one ISP despite attempts at balancing.
I also check this: https://community.nanog.org/t/load-balance-over-multiple-bgp-feemendix But I have not found any solution. Could anyone found the best idea for this? Could anyone provide some guidance or point me to resources on best practices for load balancing with BGP in a multihomed environment? Specifically, I’m looking for tips on route maps or tweaking local preferences to achieve a better balance.
Thanks in advance for any help!
