Federal subsidy boosting internet affordability set to expire unless Congress acts | PBS NewsHour

The Affordable Connectivity Program will expire tomorrow unless renewed by Congress

It won’t have an immediate impact but FCC will stop accepting new applications. Current applications will continue until existing funds run out.

ACP does not expire tomorrow. Today is the last day to enroll.

The funds are expected to run out in April or May - this is the last month providers will be reimbursed.
