CNN (TV) is reporting several explosions in Kabul. At least one fire is
visible via videophone. One talking head says they might be result of the
ongoing civil war there, another says they might be a U.S. response.
The defense department is saying that these attacks are not US
retaliation but are, in fact, being conducted bu a dissident faction
that has been basically at war with the taliban for a while.
