Is anyone using the concept of echo hosts today for testing, debugging, QA,
etc.?
Would anyone find it useful to have a network device which implemented the
echo host idea (RFC 2075) and was completely separate from any network
element or host? (That is, any hi-jacking of / messing with /security
breaches to this device would be completely isolated and have no effect on
any other network element)
