FYI:
I see discussion on DSLReports that Earthlink is deploying a
Sitefinder-ish DNS scheme. It bounces people to a "barefruit.com"
that then sprays ads back at you.
Doesn't surprise me that Earthlink has been bought off yet again
to break dns for their users. If you remember it happened before
when they were bought off by New.net and was (still is?) largest
ISP not using ICANN-maintained dns root.
