It's been a while since I've had to look at mainland China connectivity - what is the current situation for point-to-point business circuits from China domestic locations to a datacenter in HK? Does anyone have providers they like?
PCCW might be a good choice given that Hong Kong is the gateway to China.

Afaik, PCCW, China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom are all good
options, depending on where in mainland you are attempting to reach.
