yes, the normal way. go to ripe/arin/apnic. they allocate /24s to IXs

your RIR (RIPE for Switzerland) should also be able to assign addresses. Pls
have also a look at http://www.ripe.net/ripe/wg/eix/index.html

thanks for all I need is one ip address from the NYIIX allocated pool for my router. Not a whole /24 for a new IX.
