I would like to know that the modem throghput concerned with stac compression.
The most of users using 56K V90 modems in windows 95 environment.
Does anyone have idea about stac compression?

Modems don't support stac compression. It is geared more towards
routers. The Cisco 770 series routers with the right software
feature set support it. I've seen +300bps throughput on a 770
series ISDN router on a 2B+D running stac with an AS5200.
