M8.8 at 05:46:23 UTC and M6.4 at 06:06:11 UTC so far according to USGS.

bbc reports 8.8 magnitude with a tsunami.

USGS now says magnitude 8.9. And there seem to have been three
aftershocks so far, two in the 7.x range...
