look for 'arpwatch' in your favorite *BSD site.
it has a compiled list of prefixes. The documentation
will lead you to the (copyrighted) official source, too (which is not
included in arpwatch due to (C) problems).

this from the arpwatch documentation (ftp.ee.lbl.gov./arpwatch):
: The ethernet vendor codes come from:
:
: ftp://ftp.cavebear.com/pub/Ethernet.txt
: http://www.cavebear.com/CaveBear/Ethernet/vendor.html
:
: Another source of ethernet vendor code data is:
:
:
: However that version is copyrighted.
:
: Please send bugs and comments to arpwatch@ee.lbl.gov.
