internet visualization

OT: hit delete, or shameless plug disclaimer

one of my colleagues just posted this visualiation
of the internet from the as_path view of 2914. if you are on
a mobile, you have to physically move your device around.

If you love it, send Job your accolades. If you hate it,
see above disclaimer. If in a country with a holiday on monday,
enjoy it safely.

WOW, nice!

Really nice!

How can I do zoom in/zoom out?

Indeed!

One of the nicest visualizations I've seen to date. Loving it!

Agreed.
Everyone at the office have been flying some.

Weirdest thing I've found yet - AS7224, Amazon AS - Amazon, has 1
indegree - AS724 - DNIC-ASBLK-00721-00726 - DoD Network Information
Center, US.

What the heck is an Amazon (assuming it's associated with Amazon.com)
AS doing hanging off the end of a DOD network?

Assuming I'm reading it correctly, that is.

Could it be GovCloud?

Tom

Could it be GovCloud?

ding! (probably)
though one DOES wonder why that's viewable from the outside?

3/10 for spelling

adjancencies

or is that a thing?

Sort of strange since RIPE bgplay is saying the same:
https://stat.ripe.net/widget/bgplay#w.resource=7224

Anyone else have some input beside grammar nazis?

Amit.rai@neustar.biz

so, I see 7224 prefixes coming out of:
   7922 - comcast
   724 - dod-something-or-other

I'd guess 7224 is govcloud-stuff for amazon?
they MIGHT be getting leaked by mistake by 724 or 721 .... but its
pretty hard to tell from 2 as-hops away.

Yeah. Add a few Klingon ships and give me phaser control and I will
never leave that site.

Please reply off list to me or Job, is this a useful tool that should be updated with data weekly or monthly?

Crow for lunch today.

A bit of salt on that will help...
